IRIS Group Accelerates Cloud Practice Management with Acquisition of Senta
IRIS Group (IRIS) has acquired Senta, the cloud practice management software for bookkeepers and accountants. This move by the software group comes at a time when most accounting firms are preparing their clients for the upcoming Making Tax Digital reporting in 2023.
IRIS is planning to integrate the software into IRIS Elements, the group’s existing software-as-a-service platform.
The Executive Chairman of IRIS, Kevin Dady, said that IRIS Elements was created when customers told that they needed a software that could help them in instantly accessing relevant business functions and tools that are easy to use to change their firms.
He further said that with Senta becoming part of the IRIS group, we can revolutionise the market for cloud-based practice management, delivering functions and tools they need and today, irrespective of where a firm is located.
Senta was founded in 2014, it specializes in providing cloud-based marketing, customer relationship management, workflow, secure documents, email automation and insights for bookkeepers and accountants.
The founder and CEO of Senta, James Kilford, said that we know that practices are providing advisory services to more and more businesses and as a result firms are showing more compliance.
He further said that Senta spent 6 years listening to practices, developing various functions and tools and working tirelessly to look after the needs of our clients. With the resources IRIS has at its disposal together with their highly knowledgeable and skilful team we can take our software to the next level.
