Wipfli Acquires Two Firms in Philly and Montana

Wipfli LLP, the world’s top 100 firm has taken over two firms; ‘Elko & Associates’ which is based in Philadelphia and Gaulasha, ‘Higgins & Gaulasha’ (GHG) which is based in Helena, Montana.

Elko & Associates Details:

Including 12 partners, Wipfli has been joined by 81 officials of the Elko & Associates. Elko provides audit, tax, business consultancy and accountancy services in the Philadelphia with the two active offices and a member of PKF North America.

The managing partner of the Wipfli, Rick Dreher said that they had been looking for expanding their firm in the area of Northeastern United States by converging with such a remarkable firm like Elko.

Elko’s managing director Michael Pozielli noted that they are pleased to connect with a firm which has same values and client service philosophies. This collaboration indicates a prospective development for their associates and clients. This will help them in providing extensible special and industry focused services to their clients, letting them to face coming year’s new challenges and continually fulfill their clients’ growing needs. For associates, increased career and advanced training opportunities will be provided by this collaboration.

GHG Details:

Including 22 partners, Wipfli has been joined by about 140 professionals of the GHG. In Southeast Idaho and Montana, the entity is one of the private largest accounting firms. There are several day-offices and 6 active offices of the firm throughout Montana along with one full service office in Idaho.

Dreher indicated that Wipfli’s presence will be expanded and strengthened in the Northwestern United States through this collaboration. It was added that because their values, cultures and client service philosophies are similar, this collaboration will be the best fit for both entities.

The CEO and the president of GHG ‘Richard Shull’ indicated that they were pleased to join Wipfli and that the collaboration will provide the technical and industry specialization to the firm that they need to avail growth opportunities for their business and to fulfill their clients’ increasing needs.

The CEO of Koltin Consulting Group, Allan Koltin commented that Wipfli has transformed itself rapidly from local to a nationwide firm. Koltin added that substantial investments have been made by Wipfli in the advisory and consultancy services.
