KPMG Joins Hands with CIPD to Introduce Pensions Auto-enrolment Guide

In their bid to introduce an online guide pertaining to pension auto-enrolment, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has joined hands with KPMG LLP. The unique guide will serve as an online tool that has been created to offer updated pensions advice to employers as well as HR professionals.

CIPD is the largest Chartered, HR and development professional body in the world that has set global standards for best practice in Human Resource. CIPD’s focuses much of its effort in developing and supporting people responsible for the development and management of people with different organizations.

As part of offering their services, KPMG will primarily serve as the online knowledge partner for pensions and their experts will offer detailed online content that will guide different organizations right through the numerous changes to workplace pensions. In fact, CIPD and KPMG have also launched a jargon buster to assist employers in understanding the terminologies associated with pensions.

The new website being created by CIPD and KPMG will also have a special section related to pension environment, which will eventually allow professionals to keep themselves abreast with the latest legal, compliance and regulatory developments in United Kingdom. The website will also feature a design section that will offer an insight into pension crafting strategies for organizations. This will allow organizations to design pension strategies, which support company objectives. This section will also come with an implementation area that will explain organizations everything with regard to successful pension change introduction.

KPMG’s opinion is that the auto enrolment guide will basically encourage non-saving people to save. Besides, in order to successfully implement pension change, organizations will have to focus on many important points including business process changes, employee communication, HR policy decisions and system changes etc.

On the other hand, CIPD is of the impression that the auto-enrolment pension guide will offer complete guidance to organizations on matters such as course of action and the timing and method of implementation. Organizations will also be able to access the latest resources pertaining to pension related issues. The website will be of great use for HR professionals who want to understand everything about pension regulation.
